| OUR STORY

Rooted Faith Church began in February 2026 with a simple but compelling vision: to see every person rooted in Christ and growing in faith.

What started as a small group of people stepping out in faith has quickly become a growing church family marked by authentic relationships, biblical teaching, passionate worship, and a shared commitment to furthering the Kingdom of God by making disciples.

While still in its earliest days, Rooted Faith has already witnessed lives being transformed by the gospel, reminding us that when a church is firmly rooted in Christ, God delights to produce lasting fruit for His glory and the good of His people.

Ryan Clift

LEAD PASTOR

Ryan lives in Lebanon with his wife and three children and has spent the past eight years serving as a lead pastor. He holds an MDiv in Biblical Languages from Liberty University and an MA in Philosophy from Biola University, and he’s currently pursuing his PhD at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ryan is passionate about bringing together deep biblical truth, thoughtful theology, and everyday faith to help people know Jesus and live out the Gospel.
Paul Fowle

EXECUTIVE PASTOR

Paul lives in Manheim with his wife and two children. He holds an MBA from Penn State in Organizational Leadership and brings a passion for helping people work better together. Paul loves building healthy teams that communicate, strategize, and pull in the same direction—united around a common purpose and empowered to make a difference!
John Vastyan

COMMUNITY PASTOR

John lives in Manheim with his wife and brings a wealth of creativity and experience to Rooted Faith. He’s an accomplished author who has written countless articles and even published a novel! But his greatest passion isn’t writing—it’s people. John has a deep desire to see the body of Christ healthy, whole, and deeply loved, and he’s passionate about making sure every person at Rooted Faith feels cared for, valued, and seen.
Kaila Clift

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Kaila lives in Lebanon with her husband and three children. By day, she’s a dentist, but beyond the dental chair, she’s a mom, worship leader, and passionate leader of our women’s ministry at Rooted Faith. Kaila has a heart for helping women sink deeper roots into God’s Word—discovering not only what the Bible says, but how its truth comes alive in everyday life.
Jackie Donley

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Jackie lives in Lebanon with her husband and three children. As a talented local photographer, there’s a good chance you’ve already seen her work without even realizing it! But her passion goes far beyond the camera. Jackie is passionate about creating spaces where kids feel known, valued, and loved—and where faith has room to take root and grow.
Ashley Kopp

ADMINISTRATION

Ashley lives in Manheim with her husband and two children. You’ll often find her leading worship with our team, but that’s only part of what she does! Ashley is the driving force behind Rooted Faith events, bringing creativity, energy, and organization to everything from the big moments to the little details that make each event special.
Rachel Ruhl

SOCIAL MEDIA
Rachel lives in Manheim with her husband and daughter. If you’ve found your way to our website, there’s a good chance you first discovered Rooted Faith through something you saw on social media—and Rachel is the creative mastermind behind it! She has a gift for turning ideas into compelling stories and uses the power of video to creatively share the story of the Gospel and help people take their next step toward Jesus.

LOGISTICS
Jesse lives in Manheim with his wife and two children. Every Sunday, he’s the guy leading the charge—making sure everything is set up, running smoothly, and torn down when we’re finished. And he’s not just keeping things moving; Jesse is always dreaming up creative, new ways to make Rooted Faith better every Sunday!
Mark Ruhl

TAKING ROOT PODCAST PRODUCER
Mark lives in Manheim with his wife and daughter and brings a genuine passion for helping people grow in their faith. He’s also the host of the Rooted Faith podcast, Taking Root—where he explores faith, life, and what it really means to follow Jesus.

Trevor Donley

TECHNOLOGY
Trevor lives in Lebanon with his wife and three children and is the guy we turn to whenever technology throws us a curveball! From software to hardware—and just about everything in between—Trevor has a knack for figuring things out. If we have a tech question, Trevor is usually the first person we call!
Lisa Backus

VOLUNTEER DIRECTOR
Lisa lives in Lebanon with her husband and children and is one of the key people who keeps Rooted Faith moving forward. She’s the connector, the coordinator, and the catalyst behind our volunteer teams. From organizing schedules and preparing people to serve to welcoming new volunteers, Lisa has a gift for bringing people together and helping them find their place in the mission of Rooted Faith.
